I received the RX-V671 yesterday and I was very impressed when I took it out of the box and set it up! I had a Pioneer 1020-K that I am now going to sell. It was a good receiver but the online capability of it was very limited, and that was one of the reasons I decided to go with the Yamaha, in addition to their fine reputation for building excellent products! I am especially impressed with how easy it is to use with the onscreen display. The OSD overlays whatever you have on the screen. The Pioneer did not; it switched to it's own OSD any time you wanted to access it. Also, with Yamaha's OSD, you can make any change you want! The Pioneer was limited to what you could access. So with the OSD, the 17 DSP programs, ease of use, and the quality sound, I am extremely happy with my purchase. If you are considering this AVR, get it, you won't be disappointed!
